Christina Maxine is a Los Angeles based photographer, artist, singer, song writer, actress and writer. Born in Culver City, Christina displayed early signs of her passion for the arts. As a child, she could be found doing anything creative. From drawing and singing to performing dances and skits for her family, she loved having any means of a creative outlet. Christina’s passion for the arts, coupled with her mother’s support and encouragement, led her to dance and acting classes.

In high school, Christina’s talent as a dancer flourished. She began college as a dance major, but turned her focus towards photography after taking a photography class in 2007. One of her photograph’s was chosen by her professor to be included in a student exhibition. She has since exhibited her work at various events in Los Angeles and the Long Beach.

In 2009, Christina began collaborating with producers and will soon complete an album. She has recorded several songs so far and is enjoying the every aspect of music making. Christina began writing songs at the age of 13 and continues to do so while making her own music.

Also in  2009, Christina pursued acting and was cast in a few student films. Her role as "Rosetta", in the remake of ‘The Dead Girl’, would be her most memorable role thus far. Originally played by actress Kerry Washington, "Rosetta" proved to be a wonderful learning experience in Christina's acting career. So much so, she signed up with several of LA’s predominant casting agencies and hopes to do more acting in the future.

In an effort to grow as a photographer, Christina began working with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. Her love for her Vintage Minolta and Diana F+ Lomography cameras is grand, but she is very excited about exploring the digital world. Furthermore, she remains adamant about her affinity for all things analog and will always create with her Minolta.

Most recently, Christina worked as an intern at HoldUpArt Gallery in the burgeoning Little Tokyo area of Downtown LA. She has also began co-curating exhibits being held at various events in Downtown LA. This is an incredible step for her, as she yearns to open up her own art gallery. Christina plans to eventually operate her own gallery in which she can host events and exhibit some of the great artists she has met and been inspired by through the years.

The multi hyphenate Christina Maxine continues to explore all of her many talents and is enjoying each day as it comes. Infinite possibilities, she can see them now!
