Nu-Soul continues to take part in the Downtown Los Angeles Renaissance transforming a 100-year old speakeasy in the historic Alexandria Hotel into a unique experience in sight + sound.
 
Held every other month, ART + SOUL features live performances from cutting edge talent, art exhibitions from a diverse set of local artists, mood enhancing visual projections, and LIVE ART all within the one-of-a-kind setting of The Mezz.

Hailing from L.A., New York City*slash*Miami...by way of Haiti & St. Lucia, NOLA DARLING's distinct sound is new school fresh, yet old world cool. Tongue in cheek sensibility and spit-fire flows combined with real deal vocal chops and a killer live show make this rapping/ singing duo (yes, both rap AND sing) the new girls you want to get to know.
 
NOLA DARLING is gearing up for the album release with Hip Hop pioneer/producer/artist, KWAME. Having produced for heavyweights Mary J Blige, Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliot, and many others, KWAME traveled far out his comfort zone (and into the world of ND ) to collaborate and create NOLA DARLING's distinct sound. Blending Afrobeat, Haitian folkloric rhythms, Reggae, Soul, House and Jazz, the highly anticipated upcoming NOLA DARLING x KWAME collaboration is sure to make a lot of noise in 2011.
