LA VS. WAR

LA Vs. WAR II will mark the 10th anniversary of the September 11 2001 attacks with a massive group art exhibition and event taking place in Downtown LA from 9/9/11 to 9/11/11. Artists from LA and beyond will examine the questions: After 10 years of the Global War on Terror, where do we now stand as a nation? Is the world a safer place? Where does the Peace movement go from here?

• Live t-shirt printing by Hit+Run featuring peace & antiwar graphics. Customize a t-shirt or bring your own apparel.

• Peace Altar by Ofelia Esparza and friends. Bring your own photos and mementos to add to the powerful meditation for Peace.
• Peace Photo Project will be taking portraits of attendees as activists for Peace.

TEACH-INS
In the honored tradition of the peace movement's "teach-in," come listen and interact with speakers from our grassroots activist partners Iraq Veterans Against the War, Antiwar.com, Center for the Study of Political Graphics and others. Schedules to be announced.
